Music
I have been involved with music my entire life. I started music lessons when I was 5 years old and have found a way to staying music ever since. My first public performance was at the age of 9 for a PBS special. During this time piano was my primary instrument. I practiced all the time it seemed.
In 5th grade I made a change and started playing the trumpet and this instrument would become my primary instrument for all my classical music and education. I was picked to be in the California State honor band, a backup brass player for the San Diego Symphony, and conductor for Christian Community Theater on several Broadway shows that were performed.
When I started college I was introduced to pop music and began a journey of growing in the commercial and pop arena. For the most part, I have left the Classical and Broadway styles of music and focused on pop music and production. I have played with many performers over the years but I have found a way to always play with my high school buddies. Currently, we are the InsideOut Band and we have a blast playing for weddings, corporate events, and clubs all over the SoCal area. During this period of music in my life I have learned to play drums, guitars, keys, and grow in my vocal and songwriting talent.
The music below is completely done by myself except where I give credit. All performance and arrangements are mine. It is my hope that you will find the growing collection of music on this page enjoyable and varied.

I wrote this song when my dad died in the summer of 1998. As a devout Christian, I know that his departure was one of floating away to be with Jesus. With just a piano, I wanted to paint the picture I see when I think of where he is now.

I love the feel and energy of this song. I did a small rearrange of this song but for the most part it sounds like the original recording. If you listen hard enough you can hear my nine year old daughter singing at the end.

A powerful song written by MercyMe describing the power of God’s Word and how it can change our lives if we allow it to happen. I enjoy performing this song a lot!
